Police Remembrance Day

On the 29th day of September every year, Police Remembrance Day is held to honour 137 men and women of the Queensland Police Service who have paid the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives in the execution of their duty.   The bravery and sacrifice that these men and women is honoured during the National Police Remembrance Day with vigils, marches and memorial services across the state.
